To establish a strong online presence and connect with the newer generation of aspiring audio engineers, music producers, and sound professionals, SAE Institute created original content that resonates with their interests. “Dust: The Art of Sampling” is an ongoing series of that explores the captivating world of sampling and looping. The documentary not only delves into the technical aspects of using samples but also tackles the ethical concerns that arise from manipulating someone else's music to create something new. Sample pioneers, Hank Shocklee and OG Ron C, and influential producers such as Nick Catchdubs, and Girl Talk a provide insight into the art of sampling.
